Like I said, I’m giving away a copy of this book to one of you. Have you read this book? If so, what did you think? I’m so excited about this book that I decided to give away a copy today. I highly recommend it for writers who need help with plot arcs and character growth arcs. But I still loved this book so much and wanted to tell you all about it. Of course, it could be that project was special and just had all the right pieces. (I was delighted by the examples of novels broken down in the book, many of which I’ve seen.) A few major “Ah ha!” moments clicked in my brain, and I went back to my broken synopsis, and started writing. I turned back to the beginning and started reading. As this was a contemporary project, I saw the scenes in my head like a movie, so I grabbed my copy of Save the Cat! Writes a Novel: The Last Book On Novel Writing You’ll Ever Need–which I had yet to read! I started flipping through the pages. I set about doing it the three-act structure way. Well, over Christmas break, I was seized with the inspiration to try and plot out a new story idea.
